Delivery:  Roses will be delivered between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. 

Where Promise Lives, Hope Blossoms

Support LIFE Mower County's 30th Annual Rose Sale to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Autism, and Epilepsy. All proceeds benefit vital programs and services for our community.

Here’s how you can help:

• At Work: Coordinate a rose sale and have roses delivered directly to your office.
• At School: Students can sell roses to support their peers in LIFE programs.
• In Your Neighborhood: Encourage friends, family, and neighbors to order.
• Brighten Someone’s Day: Order roses to gift to customers or employees.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Rose Sale Coordinators: Help organize sales at local churches, businesses, or other locations.
• Spread the Word: Display posters and order forms at local businesses and schools.
• Pick-Up and Delivery Help: Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.  Click here to register to volunteer.

At LIFE Mower County, our mission is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live their best lives through advocacy, education, and recreation. Every day, we witness incredible stories of growth, connection, and achievement through our programs, from Special Olympics to Our Place Recreation Center. Fund-A-Need

• $1,000 – Empower Our Place Recreation Center - A $1,000 donation helps us maintain and expand Our Place Recreation Center, where individuals with I/DD come together to socialize, learn life skills, and participate in meaningful activities. Your gift provides materials for art and craft activities, game nights, fitness classes, and much more, ensuring our members have access to a safe and inclusive space year-round.
• $750 – Fuel Special Olympics Training and Competitions - A $750 gift supports our Mower County Special Olympics athletes by covering costs associated with team uniforms, transportation to competitions, and specialized training equipment. Help our athletes continue to experience the joy of competition and teamwork, while developing confidence and life-long friendships.
• $500 – Support Youth and Family Activities - A $500 donation funds our Youth and Family Activities, providing opportunities for children with I/DD to participate in fun, skill-building experiences with their families. From summer camps and movie nights to sensory-friendly events and outings, your gift ensures that our youngest participants can enjoy quality programming alongside their loved ones.
• $250 – Create Lasting Memories through Vacations - A $250 donation helps fund Vacation Programs for individuals with I/DD, offering them the chance to explore new places, bond with peers, and create unforgettable memories. Your support offsets the costs of travel and lodging, making vacations accessible to all, regardless of financial limitations.
• $100 – Advocate for Equal Opportunities - A $100 gift supports our Advocacy Programs, empowering individuals with I/DD to have a voice in their communities, fight for their rights, and access the resources they need to thrive. Your donation helps cover the costs of training sessions, transportation to advocacy events, and outreach materials.
• $50 – Strengthen the People First Aktion Club - A $50 donation supports the People First Aktion Club, a leadership organization run by and for adults with I/DD.
