How to Get Started with LIFE Mower County Activities:
Step 1: Complete the Participant Information Form
Step 2: Choose Your Participation Type
Decide if you want to attend as a Member or Non-Member. Membership is not required to attend activities, but members receive:

Step 3: Special Olympics Registration (Optional)
If you are interested in participating in Special Olympics activities (bocce, bowling, cardio drumming, cornhole, disk golf, horseshoes, etc.), you must:
Step 4: Clear Any Outstanding Balances
You are only eligible to register for activities if you do not have any past balances due.
Step 5: Register for Activities
Once steps 1-4 are complete, you can register for activities as they become available.
Registration can be done online at: www.lifemowercounty.org, in person at the LIFE Mower County office, by phone at 507-433-8994, or by email.
- All participants must complete the Participant Information Form before attending any activities.
- This form is valid for three years.

- Discounts on activity fees.
- First access to the program guide when it is published.
- A bi-monthly newsletter mailed to your home (or available via email).
- FREE transportation for members 18 and older who live in Mower County.
Membership Fees:
- Individuals with I/DD (Up to Age 17): FREE
- Individuals with I/DD (Age 18+): $30.00 per year
Step 3: Special Olympics Registration (Optional)
If you are interested in participating in Special Olympics activities (bocce, bowling, cardio drumming, cornhole, disk golf, horseshoes, etc.), you must:
- Complete a new Athlete Application every year.
- This form must be completed on paper – there is no online option available.
Step 4: Clear Any Outstanding Balances
You are only eligible to register for activities if you do not have any past balances due.
- If you have an outstanding balance, it must be paid in full before registering for any activities.
Step 5: Register for Activities
Once steps 1-4 are complete, you can register for activities as they become available.

How to register for activities:
- Online (Preferred Option): You will need to use your phone number and pin number (provided by LIFE Mower County) to log-in. This option offers you the most up-to-date information on your activities. Upon completion of your online registration you instantly know your status.
How to register online
- Visit https://schedulesplus.com/lifemc/kiosk/
- Click on Register
- Enter your telephone number and pin code. Your telephone number can either be a home phone or cell phone, depending on what we have on file.
- Click on Search
- Click on your name
- Scroll through the programs listed. You can also search for the program that you are looking for.
- If you see this message you will not be able to register - We are sorry but you are not currently eligible to register for activities online because you have forms that are not complete. You can find these forms on our Forms and Policy Page at https://www.lifemowercounty.org/forms-and-policies.html.
- If you see this message you will not be able to register - We are sorry, but you are not currently eligible to register for activities online because you have a balance due. Please contact our office for more information.
- Click on each program to view the Add To Cart blue button. Add all of the programs that you want to attend to your cart. They will be show on the right side of the screen. If you have made a mistake, click the red X button to remove that program.
- Once you have added all of your programs to the cart, click on the yellow Check-Out button in the top right corner.
- After you click on the yellow Check-Out button, you will be taken to a summary screen that lists all of the programs that you want to attend. Some programs have questions that need to be answered. Once you have reviewed your programs and answered any required questions, click on the SAVE and PROCEED TO FINAL REVIEW button.
- Click on the yellow COMPLETE MY ORDER button and you are registered. If payment is needed, please provide payment by mailing or dropping off payment at LIFE Mower County.
- In Person: Visit the LIFE office during regular business hours and the LIFE staff can register you for all of the activities that you would like to attend.
- By Phone: You can contact the LIFE office at 507-433-8994 during regular business hours to register for all of the activities that you would like to attend.
- By Email: You can email [email protected] with all of the activities that you would like to attend.
Other items of interest:
- A great effort has been made to assure the accuracy of the information provided in our activity guide. Due to the large amount of information, however, errors and changes may occur related to program schedules, locations, transportation and fees. LIFE Mower County reserves the right to make adjustments as necessary. LIFE Mower County will make every effort to notify participants of changes and corrections as quickly and efficiently as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience our errors may cause.
- A weekly email reminder is sent out on Saturday evening around 11:00 pm with a list of the activities that you have signed up for the following week. This email also shows your status and if fees need to be paid.
- Registrations and payments will not be accepted at any activities. Please use the drop box by the main entrance to drop payments off after business hours.
- Scholarships are available: Looking forward to that special activity, but it’s slightly out of your budget? Not to worry, we have the solution for you! Complete this form to request a scholarship.
- What if I miss registration? Please contact LIFE Mower County at 507-433-8994 so we can confirm if there are openings left in the activities that you would like to register for.
